Unidentified man dead from stab wounds in PoS

Police are trying to find out the identity of a man who was found with several stab wounds in east Port of Spain on Monday afternoon.

Police said a woman returning to her home at the corner of Observatory Street and Siparia Hill around midday found th man lying in a drain with several stab wounds.

She called a taxi, which took him to the Port of Spain General Hospital, where he had surgery, but died at around 6 pm.

Police said the man was of African descent, appeared to be in his late twenties/early thirties and was about six feet tall.

Port of Spain police are continuing enquiries.
