A 27-YEAR-OLD employee of a popular Tobago supermarket has been slapped with 16 counts of larceny.

On Monday, Richelle Walcott of Plymouth Road, Scarborough appeared before the Scarborough Magistrate Virtual Court to answer to the charges.

The charges are that between June and August, over $107,000 were stolen from a Western Union money-transfer outlet based at the supermarket in Scarborough. Walcott was granted $100,000 bail and is expected to reappear on October 26. PC Adams of the Criminal Investigations Department laid the charges.
