Man dead, another injured in Gasparillo shooting

Two men gunned down and killed a third man and injured another at the roadside in Gasparillo on Monday night.

Dead is Denesh "Fireman" Ramcharan, a truck driver who lived a short distance away at School Trace in Bonne Aventure. The survivor, identified only as "Footsie," was taken to hospital.
Police said shortly before 8 pm, two gunmen ambushed and opened fire on Ramcharan and Footsie, who were standing near a fruit stall.

The gunmen then ran off.

Gasparillo and Homicide Bureau Region III police visited and searched for killers.
Up to Tuesday, the killers remained at large.
