12 positive covid19 cases from children's centre, one additional death

The Ministry of Health has announced 12 new cases of covid19 originating from a children’s centre. The 12 were among 50 cases announced on Sunday.

There has also been an additional death with the latest casualty being an elderly female comorbidities, bringing the total number of deaths to 71.

The total number of samples testing positive since the start of the pandemic is 4,362.

In its 10 am update on Sunday, the ministry reported that 12 people were discharged from hospital and step-down facilities bringing the total number of patients discharged to 926, while 37 recovered community cases brought the overall number to 1,308.
