Comedian Dennis "Sprangalang" Hall has been admitted to hospital, his partner, calypsonian Natasha Nurse, confirmed on Friday.
Reports said Hall was at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope.
In 2019, Hall, 70, was admitted to Mt Hope for multiple ailments including seizures and a mild stroke. He recovered and was well enough to host his first show in May. It was a virtual show discussing issues from his childhood and experiences with Viagra.
Nurse, also known as Sexy Suzie, in a brief call to Newsday said she was speaking with doctors and could not say much more. She was yet to confirm what happened to the comedian.
Hall's brother, director and playwright Tony Hall, died in April of a heart attack.
