A 47-year-old Maloney man, who was among nine people arrested during a raid on a ‘sou-sou’ operation in La Horquetta on Tuesday, has been charged for having ammunition. The others have been released, but the millions of dollars seized are still in the possession of the police.

Police said the man was seen acting suspiciously by a Special Operations Response Team officer. When he was searched, they found a Glock pistol and ten rounds of ammunition.

The man showed police his firearm users' licence, but several alleged irregularities were noticed as he was not allowed to have ammunition with the pistol outside of a shooting range.
