217 more test positive covid19

ON Friday, the Ministry of Health reported that another 217 people had tested positive for covid19, as detected over a roughly two-week period in September. The ministry’s updates said the positive tests were from samples collected from September 4-18.

No-one died on Friday from covid19 the death toll for which remained at 60 people.

TT now has 2,005 active cases of covid19.

To date, some 28,774 samples have been tested, of which 3,651 had tested positive at public and private facilities in TT.

Some recovered 822 patients have been discharged from the State's care, while the number of recovered community cases was 764.
