Covid19 death toll reaches 60

TWO MORE people have died from covid19 – an elderly man and woman, both of whom had co-morbidities – the Ministry of Health announced Thursday evening.

Their deaths brought the total to 60.

Another 107 people were reported to have tested positive for the virus on Thursday.

In total, 3,434 samples have tested positive and there are 1,905 active cases.

The ministry also reported that recovered 814 patients have been discharged from public health while 655 community cases (those recovering at home) have also recovered.
