Body of woman found in waters near Hyatt

The body of an unidentified woman was found in the Gulf of Paria near the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain, on Sunday.

The police said they were awaiting identification and a post mortem of the woman’s body.

The body was removed and taken to the Port of Spain mortuary and the Port of Spain CID is investigating.

When Newsday visited the Hyatt, one woman sitting near the waterfront said she heard people saying a woman was naked in the water.
