Newsday photographers spent several days recently capturing what the landscape is like across Trinidad in today’s pandemic-guided living. From San Fernando to Port of Spain, the scenes are a mix of beauty, stillness, pollution and bustling towns. Our gallery starts with scenes in South Trinidad from Chief Photographer Jeff Mayers.

All is quiet at the mud volcano in Piparo which is now lush and green. -

Litter on Quinam Beach is a sign that people are still heading to beaches although they are closed based on public health ordinances for covid19. -
