Police nab robbery suspects in Westmoorings

Three men were arrested after a home invasion in Glencoe on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said at about 1.45 pm, police got information from a member of the public of a robbery in progress at Strathmore Avenue, Glencoe.

Police responded and saw the suspects in a black Chevy on Morne Coco Road.

When police attempted to intercept, the suspects tried to swerve out of the way and avoid police but they collided with the police vehicle and crashed into a nearby drain.

Three suspects, a man from Morvant, another from San Juan and a third from Petit Valley were all arrested. They sustained minor injuries. The police vehicle also sustained minor damage.

Police recovered stolen items including cell phones and jewellery

The trio are now assisting police with investigations.
