A Tobago truck driver was ordered to stay 100 feet away from two women after he assaulted them on September 5.

Wendell Ollivierre, 45, from Scarborough, was also ordered to stay away from their home by magistrate Taramatie Ramdass when he appeared virtually before the Scarborough Magistrates Second Court on Monday.

He pleaded guilty and was granted $15,000 bail.

According to a police report, Ollivierre went to the women's home, intoxicated, Ann argument started between him and one of the two women and reportedly Ollivierre began to hit her.

The second woman tried to help the first and Olivierre allegedly slapped her several times before hitting her with a glass bottle across the face.

The police report said her face was swollen afterwards.

The women made a report to the Scarborough Police Station the next day.

The Gender-Based Violence Unit investigated and police charged Ollivierre on September 6 with bodily harm and assault by beating.
