Two men die, 56 new covid19 cases on Friday

The Ministry of Health recorded two deaths and 56 new covid19 cases on Friday. The number of positive cases is 2,040 with 1,302 active cases.

The latest covid19 death is an elderly male with pre-existing conditions. The ministry also announced on Friday morning that another man had also died.

The total number of deaths now stands at 31. In the ministry's 6 pm update, it said 707 people have been discharged. The Caribbean Public Health Agency, the UWI, and other local testing have received a total of 24,692 samples.
