No new covid cases in Tobago

THA Secretary of Health, Wellness and Family Development Tracy Davidson-Celestine has reported that there are no new cases of covid19 in Tobago.

Providing an update during the post-Executive Council media briefing on Thursday in Scarborough, Davidson-Celestine said the total number of active cases in Tobago is 19.

Twenty-two people have been discharged, she said. The covid19 death toll on the island remains at one.

She said that overall 840 samples have been submitted to the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) and other local sites for testing, with 42 testing positive.

There are currently 11 patients at the covid19 treatment facility, five at the step-down facility and three en route to the treatment facility.
