Shotgun, ammo found in Mayaro

A home made shotgun was found in a forested area in Mayaro on Sunday afternoon.

Police said officers from the Mayaro police station were told a gun had been hidden in an isolated area.

Police led by Sgt Bhim found the gun and four rounds of 12-gauge ammunition.

No one was arrested.

Mayaro CID are continuing enquiries.
