Man shot dead in Claxton Bay

Police are investigating the murder of a 30-year-old Claxton Bay man on Thursday night.

Police said Duane Wright was standing ON Gibbs Trace, Claxton Bay, at around 7.35 pm when he was shot several times by a man who then got into a silver Toyota Fielder wagon and drove off.
Wright was declared dead on the spot.
Police said Wright was arrested last Sunday for the possession of camouflage pants.
He appeared in court on Monday and was granted bail.
