Amused by jokers

THE EDITOR: It is very amusing to see these comedians clamouring for the removal of a statue but quite comfortable with a hall at our university named after someone who facilitated the sale of his own people.

Maybe they should go all the way: scrap "Trinidad" in favour of "Kairi" and rename Port of Spain and every name that commemorates the colonial masters (who, by the way, left a quite efficient water supply system).

I am past the age of suffering fools gladly and the inherent stupidity of some people beats me.
