NCRHA to pay 100 per cent of arrears by end of June

The North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) will pay workers 100 per cent of increment arrears between June 30 and July 4.

NCRHA CEO Davlin Thomas said the decision was made after discussions with Finance Minister Colm Imbert on Wednesday.

The statement comes after protests by workers which began last Friday. Initially an offer of 25 per cent was made but was rejected by the workers through their spokesman, PSA representative Kester Thomas.

Thomas said the workers were owed increments from as far back as 2009 in some cases.
