Condemn, resist US oppression

THE EDITOR: The Government must be complimented by all right-thing people for having courageously joined with much of the rest of the Caribbean in resisting American oppression of a Venezuelan government that champions the rights of the poor Venezuelan masses.

Whether it be US oppression of the poor of Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, etc, or the oppression of the African American people in US, all oppression must be condemned and resisted.

The murder in broad daylight of George Floyd, a black man, by a white American police officer has so enraged all right-thinking Americans that they have risen in an unprecedented revolt that is shaking the very foundations of that oppressor State.

Right-thinking people of TT must now also rise to the occasion to banish forever the present leadership of the United National Congress which remains comfortably united with that oppressor State in its oppression of the poor masses of Venezuela.
