[UPDATE] Man arrested after savannah fire

A suspect was arrested after six Carnival vending booths were destroyed by fire. Police said in a release that a man from McShine Lane, Belmont was arrested and taken to the Four Roads police station.

At about 12.45 pm fire and emergency services were alerted to the fire at the Queen’s Park Savannah. Fire officers from Belmont Fire Station and headquarters responded and doused the fire.
