Five held for guns, ammo in Morvant

Five people between the ages of 20 and 47 were arrested during a raid at a house in Mon Repos Road, Morvant on Sunday.

The police said in media release on Monday, the men were arrested after two pistols and a quantity of ammunition was found at the house.

The release said officers of the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) Strike Team found Taurus and Beretta pistols and 18 rounds of ammunition.

Police arrested the people who were in the house. They were taken to the Morvant police station where they were to be interviewed.
