SORT distributes hampers

Members of the Special Operation Response Team (SORT) did their part in distributing over 200 hampers to families in need in northeastern Trinidad on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the officers, led by Police Commissioner Gary Griffith and Sgt Mark Hernandez, delivered food and other essential supplies to various familes.

The hampers were donated by the Maloney Church of Latter Day Saints.

The exercise sought to assist families from low-income homes with essential supplies who may have been affected by the covid19 pandemic.
