26 nationals return from cruise ship

The passenger ship Carnival Fantasy has been spotted in the approach channel to Port of Spain.

The cruise ship, which reportedly has 26 of this country's citizens is expected to dock and passengers taken to the Home of Football for quarantine.

As more nationals are allowed to return to the country, Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh said government may consider asking people to pay for their quarantine stays.

There are 345 nationals on the Vision of the Seas cruise ship in Barbados waiting on approval to enter TT.
