Marcia Henville's son murdered

FIVE years after she was killed at her home, the son of journalist Marcia Henville was murdered while standing with friends in Aranguez on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, around 3 pm, Isaiah Chioke Cadet, 25, was at Mehelal Street, Aranguez along with another man when residents heard gunshots and found the two on the ground bleeding. Cadet died at the scene.

Henville, 51, was found murdered at her home at Fidelis Heights, St Augustine in January 2015. Her apartment was set afire after she was killed. Her husband Sheldon Henville is in prison awaiting trial for her murder.

Police said they have no motive for the killing but believe it may be linked to the murder of 42-year-old Shawn “Pablo” Alleyne.

Alleyne, of Caledonia, Morvant, was shot dead while standing outside his home on Tuesday night. Police said the Cepep supervisor was standing outside his home at around 11 pm when he was approached by a gunman and shot several times.
