Man shot while riding bicycle

A 36-year-old La Horquetta man is being treated for gunshot wounds he got while riding his bicycle on Monday night.

Police said Amos Brown was at Molligan Drive, La Horquetta, at around 10.45 pm when he was shot by two men as he approached a construction site.

Brown got off his bicycle and ran along Slinger Francisco Blvd when he realised he was shot in his left shoulder and left leg.

Passers by heard the gunshots and took Brown to the Arima hospital where he was treated.

Northern Division police and crime scene investigators went to the scene where they found six spent shells and one live round.
