Tobago man on sex charge against girl, 12

A 31-year-old plumber was granted $150,000 bail after appearing in court for sexual touching, kidnapping and false imprisonment of a 12-year-old girl.

On Thursday, Atiba Lewis of Sunset Valley, Moriah appeared before the Scarborough magistrates virtual court to answer charges over a May 15 incident. The charges were laid indictably and Lewis was ordered to report to the Moriah Police Station once per week. He will reappear in court on June 15. WSRP Corbin Clarke of the Child Protection Unit laid the charges.
