Two dead, one wounded in Cascade drive-by shooting

Two men are dead and one man is wounded after a drive-by shooting in Cascade on Thursday evening.

Police said Lincoln Gobersingh and Micah Payne were shot several times by men in a white Nissan AD Wagon at around 6.30 pm while they were standing on Foncette Road, Cascade, Gobersingh died at the scene.

Residents heard the gunshots and took Payne to the Port of Spain General Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

A third man who was shot in the left arm was also taken to the hospital, where he was treated.

Police went to parts of Belmont and Morvant searching for the shooters but were unsuccessful.
