Active covid19 cases still at zero

There have been no new reported cases of the coronavirus in TT.

Meanwhile, 3,091 samples have been sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) for testing, according to the Ministry of Health's 10am update on Thursday.

Of the samples submitted, 2,672 were unique patient tests and 419 were repeat tests.

There have been no new confirmed cases of covid19 in TT since April 26.

On May 22, a 69-year-old San Fernando woman was released from the Caura Hospital after returning two negative samples. She was the last coronavirus patient to be discharged.
