Men in Barrackpore held for stolen cattle

TWO men from Barrackpore are expected to appear before a Princes Town Magistrate on charges for larceny of cattle.

On Monday, PC Ramsuchit charged Arjoon Rampersad, 38, of Mandingo and Ashook Gosine, 57, of Cunjal. Police said the men were charged for the larceny of three goats valued $7,500 and six sheep, valued $8,700.

WPCs Pierre and Battersby and PCs Ross and Harripersad investigated and Sgt Victor, Cpl Bisnath and PCs Rampersad and Sankar arrested the men.
