87 people in quarantine after returning to TT

There are 87 people quarantined in TT’s health system, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said at the covid19 update on Monday.

The quarantined people are housed at three facilities as part of the covid19 measures for people who are being allowed to return to the country.

Deyalsingh added that there are 30 people due from Caracas, Venezuela who will be quarantined at the Brooklyn Centre in Sangre Grande.

Another 26 from the cruise ship, Carnival Fantasy, are also expected and will be quarantined at the Home of Football in Couva.
