PNM: Gypsy, Seales to know fate by Tuesday

FORMER culture minister and calypso monarch Winston “Gypsy” Peters and former police inspector Michael Seales must wait a few more days to learn if they have been chosen to be PNM candidates in the upcoming general elections.

PNM general secretary Foster Cummings told Newsday that by next Tuesday the results should be known for the screening of nominees for six constituencies done last Thursday at Balisier House and Queens Hall.

The constituencies were Couva North, Moruga/Tableland, Naparima, Siparia, Tabaquite and Fyzabad. Seales is one of three nominee at Couva North while Peters was nominated for Moruga/Tableland.
