Eight more samples sent for testing

Eight more samples have been sent to Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) for covid19 testing between 10 pm on Saturday and 4 pm on Sunday bringing the total number to 2,678.

The Ministry of Health's 4 pm update on Sunday said the number of patients recovered and discharged remains unchanged at 107. The number of deaths related to the virus remains at eight.

The number of confirmed cases still stands at 116.

Only one patient remains hospitalised and is at the Caura Hospital. That patient is low-risk and stable.
