Only 26 samples sent to CARPHA on Friday

As of Friday night, no new samples were sent for testing to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the UWI site for testing for covid19, according to the Ministry of Health’s update at 10 pm.

Between its 10 am and 4 pm update, 26 samples were sent for testing. The total number of samples at 10 pm remained at 2,597.

As of Friday night, only one patient remained hospitalised at the Caura Hospital and is said to be low risk and stable.

The update also confirmed that the number of positive cases in TT remained at 116 and 107 patients have been discharged.

The number of deaths related to the virus remains at eight.
