7 held for breach of covid19 regulations

SEVENTEEN people were arrested for various offences in the  police Northern Division between 7am on Wednesday and 3am on Thursday. Among the people arrested were seven for breaching covid19 regulations.

A release from the police said the arrests came during anti-crime exercises in the division. Police in Tunapuna arrested six people for outstanding maintenance warrants in the Arima district; seven were held for breaching the covid19 regulations; a man was held for larceny of premium alcohol, keys and automatic gate controls; and three were arrested for gang-related offences.
