Almost 2,500 samples sent to CARPHA so far

In the 10 pm covid 19 update on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health said the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) had received a total of 2,498 samples for testing. Since the ministry's Tuesday night update, 85 samples were sent to CARPHA.

There was no change in the number of confirmed cases which remains at 116. TT has recorded eight deaths related to the coronavirus. The last death was recorded on April 6. Thus far, 107 patients have been discharged while one person remains in stable condition at the Couva hospital.
