Paramin man beaten to death

Police are investigating the murder of a 20-year-old man after he was beaten to death at his Mendez Trace, Paramin, home on Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators said Josiah Hoard got into an argument with a male relative at his home at around 2 pm.

During the argument, Hoard was beaten to death with a piece of iron.

Neighbours heard the commotion and called the police who went to the scene and arrested the relative.

A district medical officer was called in who declared Hoard dead.

Investigators said the men had been arguing at the home since Monday.
