People should not eat at roadside food outlets and anyone caught doing so can be charged by police.
In a virtual media press conference on Monday Minister of National Security Stuart Young said, “You are not allowed to consume it on site. Take it, move on, go away to your home. But people are not allowed to congregate to eat on site. This is a breach of the law and police will be entitled to charge you for that.”
He said no more than five people should gather to exercise and gathering to support teams is also prohibited.
He said masks should be worn and social distancing must be done at all food outlets.
Young also reminded public transport drivesr that they must continue to run with 50 per cent passenger loads.
