8 more samples sent to CARPHA

Eight more samples have been sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) for testing since 10am on Monday, bringing the total number to 2,320.

In its 4 pm update, the Health Ministry said there were no other statistical changes as the number of cases thus far – 116 – and the number of patients discharged - 107.

One stable, non-bedridden patient remains at the Couva Hospital.

The death toll remains eight.
