11 more samples sent for covid19 testing

THE NUMBER of total positive covid19 cases remains at 116, a figure which has remained unchanged for 13 successive days, the Ministry of Health has reported.

In its 10 am update on Saturday, the Ministry said the total number of deaths remained at eight, with one patient remaining in High Dependency Unit at the Couva hospital.

Four low-risk patients are in quarantine at the Home of Football, Couva and are reported to be in a stable condition.

Eleven additional tests were submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency for testing between 10 pm Friday and Saturday morning.
