Palo Seco man, 50, held for sexual offence against a minor

ON Monday a 50-year-old man from Palo Seco was arrested for a sexual offence against a minor. He was charged with one count of sexual penetration after a report was made to the Child Protection Unit.

Police said the man entered the victim’s bedroom and sexually assaulted her. The victim called out for help and was assisted by family members, who made the report.

The man was expected to appear at the Siparia Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The arrests were headed by W/Supt.George and acting ASP Sookdeo and supervised by Insp Roberts and Sgt Roland.
