Lara as an emerging star

CRICKET LEGEND Brian Lara turned 51 on Saturday and photographer Ronald Daniel has shared a few images of the ‘Prince of Port of Spain’ during his teenaged years, in the 1980s, when he was establishing himself as a future star.

Lara went on to become captain of the TT and West Indies teams, and the world record-holder for the highest individual scores in Test (400 not out against England in 2004) and First Class cricket (501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham in 1994).
