58 more unique tests done, one patient transferred

A patient has been transferred from Couva Hospital to the Home of Football according to the Ministry of Health's daily 10 am covid19 update on Sunday.

Five patients are now hospitalised while there are now nine patients at the Home of Football in Couva. All at the hospital are said to be ambulatory patients and all the Home of Football are considered low-risks, stable patients. Six patients remained at the Sangre Grande step-down facility.

The number of unique patient tests has increased by 58 between Saturday night and Sunday morning bringing the total to 1, 575, the update said. There was an additional repeated test and that figure now stands at 332.

No new samples were sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) for covid19 testing as of Sunday morning. Between 4 pm and 10 pm on Saturday, the number of samples went up by 69, from 1,838 to 1,907. That figure remained unchanged.

The number of covid19 cases remains at 116, with eight deaths. As of 4pm on Saturday, a total of 88 people recovered and were discharged from the State’s care. That figure remained unchanged.
