73rd covid19 patient goes home

One more covid19 patient has been discharged from the Home of Football in Couva, the Ministry of Health said in its Thursday 10 pm update.

This leaves the total number in step-down facilities at 29.

Six patients remain in hospital.

Forty-two more samples were submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), bringing the total number to 1,772.

The total number of cases remains at 116, with eight deaths.

No patients are in the high dependency or the intensive care unit.
