4 promised ventilators to arrive in Tobago soon

THE four ventilators promised to the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) by the Health Ministry will arrive on the island by the end of this week.

At a virtual press conference on Tuesday, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said "somebody" from Tobago will come to Trinidad within the next two days to collect the ventilators.

"Somebody from Tobago is coming across here, probably to do some initial training, and take possession of those four ventilators to go across to Tobago."

He said he could not say how many people from Tobago had received such training thus far.
