Two wounded in shootout with SORT

Two people were wounded after they were shot by members of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) at Vicky Trace, Santa Cruz on Monday afternoon.

Newsday was told that SORT officers were in the area when they were allegedly shot at by gunmen.

Police returned fire wounding two men. A search is on in the area for two more men who ran away.
