AG: We are acting within the law

Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi has said government is doing everything within the law, in order to contain covid19.

Answering a question at the daily Health Ministry briefing on Friday, the AG said the ministry was given authority through law to make regulations to combat infectious diseases.

He said because of the law it was not necessary to go to Parliament to make regulations.
