Time ripe for us to band together

THE EDITOR: A cross-section of Trinidadians are not adhering to the rules during this covid19 crisis.

The different ministries have set out various guidelines and protocols but from observation and analysis, some of the citizenry are hellbent on just being lawless. By way of example, the government has instructed a maximum of ten people in banking institutions, however, individuals are not abiding by certain rules such as distancing themselves from others and lining up in short proximity.

It is for us all to work together in minimising the spread of this viru.

We need to come together and support each other during this pandemic and the best way to do so is to socially distance ourselves.

Do you really think we can afford a SOE at this time? Trinis (most, anyway) take this seemingly idiotic adage that God is a Trini, too far.

Haven’t we all seen the so-called First World nations at the mercy of covid19? Take off the dunce cap and replace it with mental capacity and discipline.

This virus has demonstrated it is no respecter of class, gender, socio-economic status, celebrity or skin colour.
