Lights to remain off at recreation grounds

To assist with lessening public gatherings as a precaution to reduce the spread of covid19, the TT Electricity Commission (T&TEC) announced its decision or lights to remain off at all recreation grounds.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the commission said the decision will be effective from Thursday.

It said, “The decision will remain in effect until further notice and applies only to recreation grounds.

“T&TEC thanks citizens for their understanding during this difficult time.”
