UWI St Augustine campus facility closed this week

The University of the West Indies' St Augustine campus has advised that in addition to the suspension of classes, the campus facility will be closed this week.

In a statement, the UWI said the health, wellness and safety of all students, staff and their families remain the priority. The statement said the UWI was guided by updates from the ministries of Health and Labour as the country continues to monitor covid19.

The university's internal incident management team is implementing its covid19 response plan for the campus, which includes considerations for the business community and staff working virtually from Monday, to allow for critical planning.

Members of the public conducting business with the campus are encouraged to use relevant campus department's e-mail. The campus directory can be found online at https://sta.uwi.edu/directory.
