Brace for 5 more yearsof Rowley

THE EDITOR: With the PNM having officially rung the election bell by inviting nominations for the general election, and the UNC holding some questionable congress, an interesting political season is ahead.

The results of the Tobago PNM elections are certain to give the ruling party some momentum with the election of the first female leader.

Back in Trinidad, it seems the major ploy of the Keith Rowley administration to score another victory is to ensure that the fading Kamla Persad-Bissessar remains the undisputed queen of the UNC.

Her early statements of going it alone, bringing in a new slate of young, inexperienced candidates of questionable orientation will surely play into the hands of the PNM.

The PNM will continue to hold the sword of Damocles over the head of Persad-Bissessar.

Brace for five more years of Rowley.
